Student Council Begins Its Work

This school year, the Mazzalves Primary School student council has actively begun its work. Its aim is to represent pupils’ interests, encourage participation and enrich everyday school life with creative initiatives.

At the first meeting, the council leadership was elected. Pupils entrusted the role of president to Year 8 pupil Egita Narkeviča, while Year 7 pupil Enija Lapiņa became her deputy. Representatives from Years 5 to 9 serve on the council:

5. Year 5: Odrija Laumane, Šarlote Paula Sīpoliņa, Paula Pundure
6. Year 6: Dominiks Puriņš
7. Year 7: Artis Dubinskis, Enija Lapiņa, Annika Eļļuka
8. Year 8: Egita Narkeviča, Emīlija Piebalga
9. Year 9: Zane Dubinska, Sabīne Grīnberga

The council’s work is coordinated by teacher Diāna Germane.

The new president, Egita Narkeviča, proposed holding council meetings once a week so that upcoming events can be prepared thoroughly.

The Mazzalves Primary School student council is ready to begin the new school year with enthusiasm and creativity, taking an active role in school life.
