Mazzalves Young People Help Organise Sports Festival

On 18 July, the traditional large-scale “Ērberģe Open” Sports Festival took place in the surroundings of Ērberģe Manor. It is eagerly awaited all year, fitting its motto: “A day that colours the year”.

This year, young people also took an active part in organising the festival as one of the activities of the Ērberģietes association initiative project “Days of Strength for Young People”. They helped prepare competition areas, judged different contests, led children’s activities and actively participated in sporting events themselves. The parish sports organiser especially praised the work of Niks Linmeijers, Patrīcija Lisovska, Dārta Laumane, Dace Krotova and Sabīne Drevinska. Agnija Misūne, Elīna Koklevska and other young women led children’s activities responsibly.

The day was lively, interesting, colourful and filled with the joy of sporting victories.
