Pupils Also Take an Active Part in Parish Amateur Groups

The 2026/2027 season of amateur arts groups has begun, and weekly rehearsals have resumed. Of the five amateur groups at the Mazzalves Community Centre, pupils from Mazzalves Primary School take part in four. Annika sings in the vocal ensemble “Marica”, Ernests dances in the dance group “Savenieki”, and Emīlija takes part in theatre. The largest number of children participate in the folklore group “Ķerbele”: Adrians, Rasa, Sofija, Olivers, Līva, Māra, Eduards and Sintija. The groups are preparing performances for various parish events: “Tradare” and “Marica” will perform at Poetry Day in September, while the folklore group will lead Folklore Day at the school and in the parish at the end of October.

We wish everyone a wonderful and active season ahead!
