On 18 July, the energetic “Sēlija Rotā” Folk Arts Festival took place in Ilūkste for the tenth time. The evening ended with a grand concert in which the Mazzalves Community Centre was represented by the senior dance group “Sēlieši” and the middle-generation dance group “Savenieki”. Together with the Jaunjelgava youth dance group “Kodoliņš”, “Sēlieši” proudly performed “Sila Jurs”, a dance created by their leader Gunita Krievāne.
