Exhibition Hall

This exhibition hall has no permanent display, so the right question is not “what is there?” but “what is there this month?”.

The Mazzalve Parish Exhibition Hall presents a new collection every month, with works by creative people from Aizkraukle and neighbouring areas as well as Lithuania.

The programme changes widely: painting, ceramics, handicrafts and local-history projects have all been shown here. In 2026, for example, the hall presented an exhibition about the heritage of “Ķiermeļi” and traditional Sēlija pottery in the 19th and 20th centuries; earlier it hosted works from a Jelgava artists’ plein-air workshop.
